CHEVY CHASE NEWS & NOTES - SEPTEMBER 2022

I am a high school English teacher born and raised in this ANC. I am the second vice-chair of the Ward 3 Democrats and passionate about DC Statehood. I served on the ANC Anti-Racism Task Force and the Chevy Chase Small Area Plan Community Advisory Committee. It would be an honor to serve family, friends, and neighbors on the ANC.

CHEVY CHASE NEWS & NOTES - OCTOBER 2022

Increased ANC engagement is my first priority. In SMD-05 there are over 1,300 registered voters, and more neighbors, that will be impacted by these mobility issues. I aim to maintain a sense of respect and humility. No one person has the answers. Collectively, we do. There is no consensus or majority viewpoint amongst ANC 3/4G or my SMD. Safety for cyclists, business accessibility, elderly mobility, reasonable parking, prompt bus service are all vital; no concern here is unimportant. There must be more participation and awareness, more democracy, before making these decisions for everyone.
