3/27/23 SMD-05 Update

Good Neighbors one and all!

I hope you are doing well. Here's a couple of updates and things to be aware of:

-There is an ANC Meeting tonight. Please join us.

-This OSSE Dual Enrollment Program for high schoolers is a great opportunity for the right kid. Check it out. 

-Fellow Commissioner Zach Ferguson's (3G07) newsletter is here. He's got good information and if you have friends in his smd, please send it to them. 

-A letter on Northampton Road Work is attached to the email. Northampton folks, Take a look. 

-The latest ZDD Meeting covering the Civic Core was last Thursday. There is a newly proposed RFP process in light of deed restrictions on the Civic Core property. Everyone is trying to figure out where to go next, so stay tuned for more information on that. 

-If you have needs you think can be met by Councilmember Frumin's office, please check out his Constituent Office. His team has been extraordinarily responsive which is great.  

-Please follow #DCStatehood issues on social media. I have more signs for supporters if you want them, both window and yard. If you want to organize around Statehood, please reach out. Also if you have the time please attend or support the Show Up For DC Event on Wednesday, March 29. Congress is going to continue to interfere in our democracy and we ought to push back.
